Crab Filling
- 6 oz. Real crab meat
- 4 oz imitation crab meat shredded or flaked
- 2 Tbls mayonnaise
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 2 green onions
- 1 tsp tabasco sauce
- Lettuce iceberg finely shredded
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp horseradish optional
Other Ingredients
- Swiss or white cheddar Cheese- sliced and cut into strips
- English muffin toasted
- Fresh tomatoes sliced to top
Instructions
- Mix all filling ingredients together and add salt to taste. Put a heaping scoop of filling on each side of the toasted English muffin. (These are served “open face”) Top each muffin with a slice of tomato, and 4 strips of cheese (2 strips laid each way so they crisscross). Place in a toaster oven to heat for 2 1/2 minutes (or until warmed through and cheese is melted).
