Ingredients

Crab Filling

  • 6 oz. Real crab meat
  • 4 oz imitation crab meat shredded or flaked
  • 2 Tbls mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 tsp tabasco sauce
  • Lettuce iceberg finely shredded
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp horseradish optional

Other Ingredients

  • Swiss or white cheddar Cheese- sliced and cut into strips
  • English muffin toasted
  • Fresh tomatoes sliced to top

Instructions

  • Mix all filling ingredients together and add salt to taste. Put a heaping scoop of filling on each side of the toasted English muffin. (These are served “open face”) Top each muffin with a slice of tomato, and 4 strips of cheese (2 strips laid each way so they crisscross). Place in a toaster oven to heat for 2 1/2 minutes (or until warmed through and cheese is melted).
